Summer really shines at the Glen house!
You won't find a more perfect spot for your family reunion! There is something for everyone here. The young ones will go crazy over the playground. It is a real redwood tree hollowed out with a rock climbing wall inside to make your way to the crazy tree house on top where they'll climb the monkey bars or scream down the spiral slide to the tire swing, spring loaded horse swing or the baby swing below!. And this is all right in the middle of a giant sandbox with a toddler slide and a bouncing see-saw teeter totter. They'll also have fun on the battery powered toddler golf cart and harley motorcycle or the big bouncy tent! The huge, fully custom 20’ x 40’ heated pool has benches with massage jets built into each corner and huge roman stairs to wade on. There is also an 8’ round hot tub spa cascading over into the pool. Also in the pool area is a full outdoor kitchen. The enclave consists of a large professional grill (one of two at the house), a sink, refrigerator, ice maker, serving cart, 16' eating bar and of course speakers connected to the house entertainment server. After swimming, take a hot shower in the poolside outdoor shower, then lounge on the porch swing looking out at the incredible view or nap in the hammock. You will enjoy eating breakfast on the screened porch and then having all 25 of you sitting down together in the dining room for a wonderful meal that your personal chef has prepared for you. In the evening, sit out on the deck watching the kids fly kites on the golf course with the mountain range in the background, while getting the hot chocolate and marshmallows ready for roasting on the gas firepit on the deck.

The Glen House is in a great location. Located the entire length of the first hole at the new Robert Trent Jones Sunday River Golf Cub, you will witness the most commanding views the course (and area) have to offer. However, it is nestled into the terrain in such a way that you have the up most privacy, particularly at the pool where you are surrounded by hill and trees blocking any glimpse from golfers, but still allowing you to view the gulch. It even has a wonderful small stream full of rippling waterfalls cascading down the property inviting little feet to splash around.
At the Glen House you will share our Sunday River Golf Club membership privileges, including 50% off greens fees and preferred Tee-times. Walk to the clubhouse for dinner. Go rollerblading, jogging or biking on the cart paths after hours to spy on the moose, fox and other wildlife.

Although you are likely not going to want to leave the luxury and amenities of the house, don't forget all the other things the area has to offer! Of course there is Sunday River Golf Club, which Travel & Leisure Golf named one of the Top Ten Best New Courses in the world and Golf Week named it the #1 course in Maine less than a year after opening! There is also the Bethel Championship Golf Course and Golf School, swimming at one of the many lakes and rivers in the area, boating (kayaks, row boats, motor boats, electric boats, float boats, canoes are all available for rent), white water rafting (1/2 hr drive), miniature golf, laser tag, paint ball, water slides, indoor rock climbing, glow in the dark bowling, arcade, hard core rock climbing, hiking, nature photography, wine and cheese float trips, waterfall tours, fall folliage tours, , 4-wheeling ATV tours on the old logging roads, movie theater, roller blading or skate boarding at Sunday River's park, strawberry and apple picking, bird hunting and clay shooting, horseback riding, moose and wildlife safaris, fishing, rocking hounding at a local mine, braving a natural waterfall/waterslide, local fairs and other events, tennis, alpaca and other farm tours, and of course, mountian biking. In the nearby White Mountains, enjoy the cog railway, the Mt. Washington autoroad, Six Gun City, Whales Tale water park, Story Land and Santa’s Village amusement parks, the caverns, outlet shopping and tons more. Enjoy whale watching and all that the beautiful Maine coast has to offer about an hour away. This is definitely a great place to be for fun and relaxing outdoor activities.
